President-elect Donald Trump and President Joe Biden met for the first time since Trump won back the White House, and both promised a smooth power transfer.

Vice President Kamala Harris has called her election opponent, former President Donald Trump, to concede the election and congratulate him on his victory. Harris was expected to reach out to the president-elect before addressing the nation later Wednesday afternoon.

That bitter, partisan tribalism is a sign of the times, but for it to end someone needs to step up and be the bigger person. Why not Trump?
