YouTube has rolled out a redesign of its playback speed controls for both Android and iOS apps. The new interface has a compact design that appears at the bottom of the screen, replacing the previous tall sheet of increments that occupied nearly half the display.

YouTube is testing continuous scrolling for long-form videos, which could change the swipe gesture behavior for full-screen videos. The feature is currently available to a limited number of users, but YouTube might release it more widely soon.
