Ben Stokes is missing from the list of 1574 players who have registered for the IPL 2025 mega auction to be held on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The long list of registered players, which will be pruned by the IPL after receiving input from the franchises,

Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Mohammed Shami are among the Indian players who registered under the base price of Rs 2 crore for the auction that will take place on 24 and 25 November.

Legendary England seamer James Anderson has registered for the Indian Premier League auction for the first time in his career. The Test specialist, who retired with 704 wickets to his name has set his base price at Rs 1.

James Anderson, the legendary fast bowler who retired from international cricket in July, has registered for the upcoming IPL auction. Despite last playing a T20 game over a decade ago, the 42-year-old has expressed a belief by registering for the league that he can still compete at the highest level .

Interestingly, Anderson has never competed in a global franchise T20 league, and his last T20 game was in 2014 for Lancashire.

Ben Stokes opted to skip IPL 2025 as the England red ball captain didn't register himself for the mega auction which is slated to take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25.

Each franchise will be able to form a maximum squad of 25 players (including retained players), and a total of 204 slots will be up for grabs at the auction.
